Training Consultant - Motherwell

 

Tom offers over twenty five years of experience working in Telecoms and IT. Initially trained as a Radio Systems Engineer in the British Army, Tom gained a wide range of experience deploying a variety of radio and data systems around the world. His military career culminated by being selected as a Trainer/Assessor at the Royal School of Signals. Since 2000 Tom has worked for several major Telecoms and IT organisations in training roles and is currently working with a rapidly expanding eCommerce and web design company in Edinburgh.

 

As a founding member of NEC's UK training team, Tom developed and delivered all UTRAN and Node B training to support the launch of UK's first commercial 3G network, '3'. He has held senior training roles for Quotient, a radio planning consultancy, and specialist equipment vendors such as IPWireless and Airspan. Whilst with Marconi, Tom servied in the Middle East teaching Telecoms Technician programmes.

 

Tom is an articulate, commercially focused client facing team player with a proven track record of adding value through knowledge, experience, ability and passion. He successfully blends technical skills and business acumen together to understand situational and environmental issues to create value-based solutions for all stakeholders.
